My snow cravings have been.....quenched for the time being.
We're at about 18 inches of accumulated snow so far, and expecting a couple feet more tomorrow. I have rather prided myself on our ability to traverse the rough weather so common in our neck of the woods as compared with our more temperate nearby cities. But despite our fleet of vehicles in various states of running-ness, by the the end of tomorrow we may actually be plain stuck.
It's beautiful though, and it's the first big snowstorm for Trixie, who seems to be thoroughly enjoying it. Some of my earliest memories from when my family lived in Nebraska are walking through the path my dad had shoveled from our porch to the sidewalk, with snow taller than my head on either side of me. Looks like Bellatrix might get that same experience shortly!
